I have so many interests I don't know what to do with them. First and foremost I consider myself an amateur scientist and I love to examine and test all sorts of things. Currently I working on Project X, but more of that later. 

Just to list a small fraction of my interests; I love math and statistics and everything in which you can include math and stats like gambling. Favorite games include poker, roulette, blackjack and other casino games. Online poker is my main source of income. 

I also love art and love to paint, draw, take pictures with my digital camera (just love my old Canon 350D) and then fiddle about with them in Photoshop. 

I am also a gadget freak and my place is full gadgets that I just have to have (or had to have at one point). I read plenty of books, usually three or four at the same time. Favorite authors include Eric Lustbader, Dan Brown, Clive Cussler and many many more. 

Lately I have discovered that I like to write as well and that is where this blog comes in. I intend to write about whatever I fell is interesting me at the moment. So there will be plenty entries of the subjects above and of course Project X. 

Project X started just after new years and is about online gambling. Certain rules apply to casino games and I am not thinking of the rules of the games itself but of the rules of mathematics and probability. After a few days of playing online roulette something just didn’t feel right. The game did not behave the way it should. Was it just my imagination, brought on by too little sleep and too much sugar or was something going on here? I didn’t know and I still don’t. So I started Project X to find out. It is a little amateur science project of mine and I will be publishing my findings here on Nighugg’s World when I have them.
